Back to the Lammermuirs.

Two quick visits to the Lammermuir Hills, here in the Scottish Borders and Ollie and I managed to get these few images. It was a particularly breezy day when I photographed the Red Grouse but a calmer, brighter evening when the Oystercatcher posed for me.

About Phil Mclean

Hi, my name is Phil Mclean. I'm a nature photographer living in Berwickshire,in the Scottish Borders.I enjoy photographing all aspects of nature, from the birds and the bees,to the mammals and the trees. I just love being out in the countryside whenever possible and preferably with a camera. Although I do make it difficult for myself,as I'm normally accompanied by my photographic assistant, Ollie,my springer spaniel dog. I hope you'll enjoy the pictures that I post and if you have the time and the inclination, please leave a comment. Thanks.

    Hi Phil.
Still enjoy looking at your outstanding photos. The Common Buzzard in particular I liked. I am continuing to do my watercolour paintings-mainly of nature subjects. With inspiration from you and your photos I am now taking my own photos to paint from. I have been quite pleased with the results of some Kingfisher photos taken at Lackford Lakes near Bury St. Edmunds.
Wishing you all the best and looking forward to seeing the next batch of fantastic photos.
    Colin
