Scottish Nature Photography Awards Scottish Botanical Catagory Winner

A photographic passion for nature.

Next Markets will be:
Paxton House ((marquee) every Wednesday until the end of September '22.

My love of the countryside began in my childhood in Hampshire and later my passion for nature photography grew with the purchase of an Olympus camera before converting to Canon 35mm cameras and on to Canon digital in 2005.

Since 2001 I now live in the Scottish Borders and my interest in British nature photography covers many different categories.

I am a semi professional with images held by the Frank Lane Picture Agency and have had many images published in books, magazines and calendars and have also donated images to conservation bodies like the Hampshire Wildlife Trust and Berks, Bucks and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.

I was the winner of many awards in the camera club exhibition circuit where I gained my Associateship with the BPE and also the Royal Photographic Society.

I am now a member of the Duns CC where I have won awards in the Borders photographic competitions.

But first and foremost I just want to be 'out there',with a camera and preferably taking some decent pictures.

Now most of my pictures are taken in the beautiful countryside around where I live, near Berwick, and I just wish I had alot more time to do it than I have.

I hope you enjoy the site, thanks for looking and any feedback would be most welcome.... maybe.
