Common Buzzard.

Ollie and I were walking down by the river and there was nothing much to see and definitely nothing to photograph. The river had been in flood, yet again, and there was mud everywhere.I called Ollie over.     ”My name’s not over,it’s Ollie” he said.  ”Ha Ha,very funny”,I said.  ”Do you fancy going for a drive in the car?”I said.”See if we can see any wildlife to picture”.  ”Do I have a choice?”    ”No.”   ”Can we have a picnic?”    ”It’s december Ollie, too cold”.   ”We can have a bonfire.”   ”Get in the car”,I said.  After much grumbling, tutting and sighing Ollie jumped in the back of the car and off we set on our latest adventure.

Shaking out its’ feathers.

Is that my next snack?

A bit of wing stretching.

I’ll just turn around and stretch the same one.

Getting carried away.

Could do with a sit down after all that!

About Phil Mclean

Hi, my name is Phil Mclean. I'm a nature photographer living in Berwickshire,in the Scottish Borders.I enjoy photographing all aspects of nature, from the birds and the bees,to the mammals and the trees. I just love being out in the countryside whenever possible and preferably with a camera. Although I do make it difficult for myself,as I'm normally accompanied by my photographic assistant, Ollie,my springer spaniel dog. I hope you'll enjoy the pictures that I post and if you have the time and the inclination, please leave a comment. Thanks.
